Where can I find financial analyst reports?
Do we have access to investment banking analyst reports and commentary--also known as sell-side or equity research?

Analyst reports are available in several library-subscribed databases:
- Morningstar analyst reports can be found in PitchBook. When logged in to PitchBook, browse to the "Research" menu and select "Research Center."
- D&B Hoovers provides select, recent analyst coverage. Find these in the D&B search menu, under "Research & Reports."
- A selection of somewhat less reputable analyst sources are also available in FactSet.
Note: UW Libraries previously had a subscription to Investext, an aggregator of brokerage reports and analyses by leading investment firms. However, the vendor retired the platform in 2025, and a comparable, viable replacement has not surfaced. Business librarians continue to pursue alternative sources.
