Can you help me log into The Economist?

Some users have had an account problem, where they may or may not be able to log into The Economist but regardless will not have full access to articles. Another symptom is that they may see a message stating that their account is "inactive."


Answer

First try clearing your browser cache and/or using an alternate browser to log into The Economist. Also check to see if you have access to other UW resources, such as my.uw.edu

If you are still not able to log in, unable to access full-text articles, and/or encounter an "account inactive" message, send an email to The Economist SSO support at ssosupport@economist.com. In the message, ask to reinstate your access to the UW group subscription.
